SWORDS

The Suit of Swords is represented by the element of Air.  Swords have an affinity to the mental level of consciousness and are associated with intellect, communication, power and action.  Swords reflect our thoughts, ideas and knowledge, providing us with the ability to analyse, reason, make decisions and take action.  Our quest to understand and accumulate knowledge brings power and influence, based on ideas that create fairness or conflict.

Swords people are mentally astute, scholarly and knowledgable, often applying reason to gain a fair and favourable outcome for the greater good.  However, they also have a tendency to overthink and if their thoughts are off track, they risk being power hungry, delusional, violent and manipulative.  Daily experiences of Swords reflect our ideas, decision making processes and communication, as well as conflict with ourselves and others.
